Rad Dudes are once again a sponsor of the best free-ride event of the year. Wave Daze Spring is held at Virginia Beach VA on April 26th-28th. We will have a Blaster 1100 on the beach as a Demo ski, so don’t be afraid to try it out. Rad Dudes will be sponsoring the after parties. The party will be going down both Friday and Saturday nights at Peabody’s. There will be FREE BEER and FREE FOOD for Saturday night only but we will have drink specials going on Friday as well. There will also be Free rides to and from the hotel courtesy of Seven cities party bus. Don’t miss this event.

January 15, 2012 Rad Dudes to Make a Gen3 X2 Freestyle hull
Well it’s about time.
Bullet Racing has a hull coming out to the Rad Dudes compound with the sole purpose of being cut up to make something new. The Gen3 of the X2 world is coming. “The RD3”
The list
Setback pump (like the Gen1 and Rickter FR2s)
Lowered Foot Trays (like a Gen1)
Inside facing foot hold (Like no other)
Rockered Nose (8 or more inches off the thing)
Everything we all love of the Gen1 now in a big new body.
Setback pump (like the Gen1 and Rickter FR2s)
The Setback pump is something these hulls just need. We have all ran spacers and long noz to get the pump back but those are all band-aids for the real problem. Look at a Gen1 X2 driveshaft and look at a SXR right there is where Kawasaki messed up. Rickter did the same thing from the FR1 to the FR2 they mover the pump back 2 inches.
Lowered Foot Trays (like a Gen1)
Gen1s you stand down next to the pump. Gen2 they brought you back up changing the whole feel. The ski already rides higher and now you are higher as well. Drop them back where they should be.
Inside facing foot hold (Like no other)
Think about foot holds only on the inside. Think about how you stand on a dirt bike and how you grip in not out.
Rockered Nose (8 or more inches off the thing)
Let no kid ourselves here Kawasaki built a big long pig with the Gen2 she was almost 400pounds and very long. Rockering the nose changes everything the way the ski approaches a wave the way the ski recovers from landing nose in and the overall feel of the ski.
Rad Dudes are going to have a ton of help and ideas coming from all over the X2 world and we want to hear what you would want in a freestyle X2 hull.
Glyn The Glass man from the great up north will be giving his insight. Then all the Rad Dudes will have their hands in on this one.

May 26th, 27th, 28th (Memorial Day)
Rad Dudes River Ride! That’s right boys come down for a day or 2 or 3. We are meeting at our local drop in on the CT River (Glastonbury CT) Sat morning at 9am. Bring gas jugs and food because we are going down river to “The Island” for a day of riding. If you want to spend the night there are local hotels and you can leave your skis at the Rad Dudes compound in Cheshire CT. Then Sunday we can ride the mouth of the river and out into the sound dropping in at Baldwin Bridge in Old Saybrook CT. And on Monday (since its memorial day) it’s back to the island for a 3rd day of riding if you are up to it. Monday is like spring break on the river so get ready to party. Just make sure your ski is registered and you have a boating license. There are no cops in our island ride area but the mouth of the ride does have a few.

OC Rager this year will be June 1st,2nd and 3rd. Posting it up early this year cause there are lots of open cabins and camp site now don’t wait or they will be gone! Make sure you tell them when making Res. you are with the WaveJunkies. Normally you have to reserve 3 nights or more but that weekend they will let you reserve one or more nights.

November 23, 2011 -Rad Dudes Surf Brace to be used by Universal Studios
I am Happy to announce Rad Dudes Ebox mount Surf Braces will now be used on the X2s for the Water World Show at Universal studios!
They are upgrading the X2s over to 800s and Rad Dudes surf braces are going on each ski.
Mark Gomez who performs in the show and Rides the X2 called a few weeks ago about upgrading the skis. After a few phone calls with the lead mechanic there, the surf braces are now being used on the skis!

October 9, 2011 - Rad Dude Team Rider JonnyX2 Gets 2nd at World finals
Jonny sporting a Rad Dudes Surf Brace, motor plate, battery wires and a bunch of other Rad Dudes parts Got 2nd place at World Finals in the X2 Class! Jonny, known for his Gen2 racing over that past years, got back to his roots and built a Gen1 this past season. Rad Dudes were right there to help him out! Look out for Jonny next year ... 1st place here we come.
